              Track will be open Saturday and Sunday. Entries are now open for

We have been busy with the planning and ticking the boxes for next year’s event “Mothers Chrome Autofest”. As the name suggests Mothers have taken naming rights to the event and we have a new programme for you which is over three days.

The feedback from the last Chrome event was great and everyone loved the track time and being able to cruise at a reasonable road speed all day, so we have more track time for you and not only at one track but three race tracks.

Hampton Downs, Fram Autolite Dragway and Meremere Speedway are all within 3 minutes’ drive from Hamptons so why not do them all.

yes you can run with open headers
yes you can light up the tyres as we are running the skid lane at Hampton's again
yes you can cruise Hamptons with passengers both days
yes you can cruise Fram Autolite Dragway with passengers
yes you can camp at Fram Autolite Dragway and they do have powered camp sites and showers
yes you can enter the Power Skid, the Gymkhana and the Burnout competition for free which is included in your entry fee

NOSTALGIA DRAGS 2012 THE EVENT OF THE YEAR!

07          FENDER BENDER...Saturday
              Building on the event that is the annual Nostalgia Drags, Bay Rodders
              have enlisted the assistance of the Fenderskirts to help organise
              proceedings Saturday evening after the completion of the NZ Hot Rod
              Magazine Club Champs. Following the traditional Cacklefest held on
              dusk, the Fenderskirts gals have organised a party of jungle flare and
              fun including a rocking band and DJ Rev’n Evan. Since we’re taking
              rodding back to the days of old, Boat Racing will also be a feature of
              the evening.
              If your club has a team of four smok’n beer drinkers drop an email to
              fenderskirtsnz@gmail.com to enter. As always, (and being responsible
              hosts), camping is available on site and the usual Nostalgia Drags gate
              entry fee of $20 to the event applies. Make a weekend of the

              Easter Sunday Bryan Fraser Engineering Nostalgia Drags hosted by
              Bay Rodders Inc. Gate Entry Adults $20 and under 14 Free. Gates
              open 7am. Featuring Trans Tasman FED Challenge $5000 in prizes and
              Saturday night CackleFest. Racers - pre-event registration a must.

01-04      NZ Hot Rod Nationals Whitianga, Claire and Deano have booked
               accommodation and suggest those interested the date and suggest
               booking accommodation now while good rooms available. They have
               booked at Marina park 84 Albert street Whitianga – which is right beside
