Pat and Jackie, Lynne and Garth, Deano and Claire, Vicki West and Glen Fitzpatrick all met at Burger King Fraser Cove 8.40 am we all drove to Amber Crescent to support the Lifezone Fathers day- a day all about relationships,

After parking up and doing the flag thing we chatted to Rex and Shannon Moyle. Mike mongrel arrived with our smash a jappa car on the back of his truck.... As he backed in the show flags were to low so Deano used the pole to hold the flags up and then leant it on a nearby truck.... Claire thinking she was helping went to place pole with flag but Deano yelled out and said he needed to use it, SO Claire put the pole back, but not correctly and yes you guessed it it fell on Glens mustang (imagine Claire standing mouth wide open hands over her mouth saying OH NO!) Thankfully no damage but maybe a fine for Claire and a drink for Glen. After a hearty breakfast cooked by volunteers at Lifezone and a good coffee we sat in the sun generally enjoying the sunshine.

Not long after Mike Mongrel said Bay Rodders should challenge Lifezone at a tug of war challenge, so Deano as anchorman, Mongrel and Glen next and then Jackie and Lynn AND Garth and Pat (Claire abstained as she had just came out of hospital, couldn’t go on the bouncy castle and slide either with the Grandies). Well who said Christians don’t cheat (as quoted by Mike from Lifezone) as Bay Rodders pulled to win when Lifezones ringins jumped on board and consequently won.

Next the smash a jappa a donation to their mission charity project – a well – got you the sledgehammer, Lynne and Jackie took out their personal frustrations and then Pop D (known to you as Deano) helped grandsons Boyd and Mason – have a go.

A big thank you to Garth for taking an elderly man for a cruise in the Imperial – he won a ride on a Harley but was keen to cruise in the Imperial – So Garth came to the rescue – all in all a relaxing day watching families have fun and kids kill a jappa.
