Bay Rodders Shed Raid

What an awesome turnout for a Bay Rodders Sunday Shed Raid run!! There were 46 cars that met at Fraser Cove 9:30am Sunday 17th July, and a HUGE welcome to the 6-7 members from the Mustang Club that joined us for the day, so good to meet you guys, hope you enjoyed cruising with the Bay Rodders clan!

The first stop was Graham Colliers on Devonport Road, Den plus about five others were following "Pom" and his lovely lady in their '69 Camaro, the scenic route was taken as "Pom" missed the freaking turn off J  - oh yeah by the way Garth and Lynne... what does "Road Closed" mean? Anyway there are photo's of Graham Colliers shed ...

Oh by the way nice corrugated plastic body panels Graham - do you have a friend at LJ Hookers ha ha J Now before my honey Den left the home this morning I instructed him "don't break my Camaro", but leaving Graham Colliers my '69 Camaro decided it was broke - alternator problems, and as my girlfriend Jackarse told me "a man should not drive a women's car - my car was missing me", but thanks to Den's cuz Wayne Forlong and his jump pack he managed to get my 69 Camaro going, and off they all headed to Shawn Horwood and John Olds Workshop in Cherokee Place.

.

"DON'T TOUCH - Can't imagine way?

..

Then onto Wayne McClure's at Aaron Place, Bay Rodders pulled into this cul-de-sac and the thunder of V8's work up everyone, as the they found themselves welcomed and waved at by all the neighbours and particularly the kids who just LOVED the cars!!!

They Steve that's not Leanne's Pop - out now?

Then onto Gordon Cromb at Highway 29, 8 ACRES!!! and NO PARKING for 46 cars - what the heck is that about!?! Let us know the nights you can muster room for 3-4 cars at a time and we will be there with bells on buddy! J  So "Pom" and "Flosses" place at McClaren's Falls was added to the Agenda.

Thanks for the box of refreshments for the boys and girls - O for owesome! Also thanks for the jumper leads after Cuz Wayne jump pack ran out of power - awesome Shed wicked Machinery!!! Then onto Chris Woolley - sorry no photo's this is when Den had to bring my Camaro home and Ken picked us both up in his '52 Chevy - wohoooooooooooooo!!!!!

Dave Gibson's Te Puke...

Evidently I've been told in this painting these are all Dave Gibbo's cars he has had -cha- cool!!!

What are you doing in there that's Ngaire's car - isn't it?

.

Just a bit of fun getting out a one land drive way - baa baa ...

Onto Mark Norris Te Puke...

Hey is that the Sheriff's car in the blue blankie?

Then onto Dave McNaughton's Kairua Road, for a BBQ and drinks - the sun was shining and we got to sit in the sun, relax and catch up with everyone which was fabulous ... hey who wrote 0800 who cares that's Den and Ken's Winter Blast help line J

These two are related the a '51 Chev on right and the '52 Chev on the left- nice!!

So despite Deano's Buick vibrating, my Camaro alternating, and Dave McNaughton's CRYSTN radiating and Ken's spark plugs carbonating, it was an an awesome day!!

Yours in Hot Rodding Cathi J
