12 Bay Rodders turned up at Burger King Fraser Cove on Sunday Deano, Nellie, Garth & Lynne, Dave & Dianne Gibo,Paul Gibo, Cam & kim, Dave McN,Chris Furlong in his very hot nova, caddy Phil then on to Katikati where we picked up new prospects - friends of Cam and Kim in a nice black Impala "not", as it was leaking oil so we got smoked out all the way to Waihi so Bay Rodders tried to fix it at Rod and Michelle Wills place , while there Cam and Kim's girls kept us all entertained as well as Kim who showed every body that she could still use a swing, we were all ready to leave when Chris Furlong's lovely nova decided she needed a jump start so Garth and Lynne helped them out, then on to Paeroa where we picked up Robbie Chesham and on to Yesteryear by the time we got there it was pouring with rain so we couldn't have our BBQ, I tried to get Dave McN to nick this really cool gnome who was ridding a tractor so our gnome would have a friend but no amount of bribery worked so he stayed behind.

Everyone then decided that the brown cow at Te Poi was the place to go for lunch by this time the rain had stopped which was just as well as Chris Furlong needed another jump start to get going , so off we went in convoy behind caddy Phil via backroads to Te Aroha and then on through more backroads to Matamata and on to Te Poi Chrs Furlong decided to go home and fix his car everyone had a yummie lunch and a few ales then started heading off home great run shame about the weather.
