Merry Christmas to you all from Claire and I.

Another year done and dusted, where did it go.

We have been busy all year and ,I have had a lot of fun, stress and ups and downs, just as well hot rodding helps keep me sane. Time now to spend with family and friends, this is a must, life can be short as with my sister who is fighting for her life right now with severe cancer, and then our very good friend and fellow Club member Westie with needing a lung transplant – you just don’t know what is around the corner.

Congratulations go to Cathi and Dennis for announcing there engagement last week, getting married in 12.12.12 on the 13th Den turns the big 50 – what a great way to turn 50.

There is a lot going on behind the scenes with our club rooms and I apologise for not keeping you all in the loop. We were having someone do the drawing up of plans for free but through a lot of factors this hasn't happened so the committee has decided to do plans elsewhere, so Club rooms are still happening but everyone must realise dealing with council and red tape it always is a drag, and most of us have businesses so spare time is sometimes hard to find, but be assured the cogs are moving. (Big thanks to Ross C ).

It has been a busy week as dead lines have been and gone for magazine articles, posters and T shirt printing re our Nostalgia Drags, BUT now all done , Thanks to Lynne and Claire for going the extra mile for the club.

I have bowed to pressure – yes me – DEANOS PICNIC is now on SATURDAY 14th Jan 2012 – (cancelled if wet) so bring you meat, shared salad or food contribution and lets have fun. Large paddling pool for the kids and I have promised Claire that I will NOT put on any drag racing videos but music ones so we can all boogie. Deanos Picnic 14th January 2012 3pm onwards. Look forward to seeing you all at ours.

So on my final note I especially thank my Committee – Merry Christmas to you all and may 2012 been a great year personally and for Bay Rodders let us see our Club rooms arise. Keep safe, enjoy your family and friends, don’t eat too much – yeah rite ! Don’t drink and drive – none of us what to share GHOST CHIPS !!! Look forward to seeing you all in 2012.
